Well, now I’m totally going to confuse anyone reading mine compared to the rest of the reviews for this toy, but we’ve had NONE of the problems that some others have had with this toy. Ours came with Flash, totally awesome, and it’s received TONS of playtime and is a lot of fun! The Javelin lights up and fits two action figures. We think it’s a great toy and a very fun addition to the Justice League figures we already have. Haven’t had any trouble pulling it apart, a five-year-old really can do it! So, if I was looking to buy this toy, I would definitely give it a try. As I said, we’ve not had any of the problems some others here have had and truly love, love, love this toy! Highly recommend! Besides, it’s really cool when it lights up!
My 6 year old son likes this toy a lot. He hasn’t had any trouble pulling the two pieces apart, though it is true the doors come off occasionally but he has learned how to put them back on. The landing gear is not so well designed but one can easily ignore it. He’s had many hours of pleasure from this $21 toy, and he would recommend it to other 6 year olds. By the way, the 4-1/2″ Superman fits in the back and in the front.
My little boy loves his Justice League Superheroes, however, this toy proved to be a disappointment to us. Its durability is quite poor. Everytime he tries to put Flash in or out of the cockpit, the door comes off. Trying to separate the aircraft into two separate ones is no easy task–even for an adult. My four year old is constantly asking me to put it together and take it apart because he cannot do it himself. This toy has been truly frustrating for him and he gets so aggravated with it constantly falling apart.
